We’ll be celebrating the end of the year and the start of the summer harvest with some onsite cooking with culinary herbs in our orchard, reviewing our harvest calendar, holding a 15minute AGM and enjoying afternoon tea together.
Everyone is welcome to join the afternoon event whether you are an orchard member, supporter or new to the orchard.
Bring a snack or some fruit to share and an afternoon tea with a difference.

Thanks to all of you who joined the olive harvest this year. We came away with 713kg of olives with a 16% oil content and returned from the York oil press with 125L of beautiful oil. We’ll be bottling it in early June. Pickers will be notified first and bring your clean bottles for refilling.
On Sunday April 6th 10:30-12:30 we’ll hold a Moringa tree harvest combined with a Moringa curry cook-up. As we pick the pods/drumstick and prune the foliage, a food crew will prepare curries utilising some of the moringa harvest. We’ll aim to eat around midday. Bring secateurs for pruning.
